R.H.Morgan Electrical Services is one of the largest electrical contracting companies in Gloucestershire. We provide our services throughout the UK and Overseas as required.

Now looking forward to our 40th year of trading, we have expanded to a thirty strong workforce.

Our skilled staff are fully equipped to carry out the Electrical tasks assigned to them and can be backed up by our own technical staff, should the need arise.

The company carries Public Liability Insurance to the sum of £5 million and Professional Indemnity Liability Insurance to the value of £1 million. Warranty Bonds can be arranged as and when required.

Electrical design specifications and Quotations are available from our Lydbrook office and we can work with clients to incorporate their specific needs and preferred suppliers, should they so wish. We have accounts with all of the main Electrical Wholesalers which guarantees us competitive prices.

Much of our work is carried out on a quotation/fixed price basis, but hourly rates for work can be readily negotiated if required.

Apprentices are "part of the scene" at Morgan Electrical Services with the company maintaining their tradition of employing apprentices of school leaving age and more recently, with adult training. M.D. Robert Morgan said "without training our own electricians we could not survive; they have been the life blood of our company".

The company has been a member of the NICEIC since 1975 and the ECA since 1983.

The Managing Director, Robert Morgan, has played a major part in the development of the ECA, being Gloucester Branch Chairman and Western Region Chairman. He is currently a member of the National Labour Relations Committee.

Robert has been involved in the electrical industry since he left school and is pleased that his two sons, Neil and Ian, have followed him into the business.  Robert's wife Barbara is the Company Secretary and takes responsibility for personnel requirements and PAYE.

Neil and Ian are both keen rugby players; Neil is a member of Drybrook RFC and Ian, Berry Hill RFC.

Robert and Barbara are both members of the Lydbrook Brass Band. Robert is Chairman of the British Federation of Brass Bands and represents England on the European Brass Band Association.  He has just completed 50 years with the band and was awarded an MBE in the Queen's New Year Honours List for services to brass band music.
